My Mission
MY goal is to educate audiences about movies, filmmaking and film history, in a fun and entertaining way, through online content and live events!
For over 15 years, I worked in Hollywood, gaining firsthand experience in the film industry. For the past 15 years, I’ve been a college film professor, sharing that knowledge with the next generation of filmmakers and film lovers. Now, through Fortunato Film School, I bring that passion to a wider audience—offering a dynamic, interactive experience that blends film history, analysis, trivia and behind-the-scenes storytelling.
Film School is more than just a screening—it’s part film class, part book club for film and part celebration of your favorite classic movies. Whether live or online, I take audiences on an engaging deep dive into classic films like Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Singin’ in the Rain, The Graduate, Jaws, and many more. Through private events, public community screenings, and even fundraisers, my goal is to educate, entertain, and inspire audiences by deepening their appreciation of cinema and filmmaking.
Beyond Film School, I share insights as a film educator, speaker, and radio personality—offering a fun and accessible approach to understanding film. Whether online or in-person, my mission is simple: to bring movies to life in an exciting, insightful, unforgettable and most of all, ENTERTAINING way!
